How do I play?
Click here to read the official rules for Barona $500 Fridays Bingo. But, in a nutshell, here's what you need to know to play:

  • Register at this website and confirm your registration via email.
  • Receive a weekly email with a link to your Bingo cards. This email is sent to you by 10 AM PT Friday morning of the Friday game. Click on the link in the email and print your bingo cards.
  • Watch the animated Bingo balls drop during an ad for Barona Resort & Casino airing on NBC San Diego Channel 7 at about 7:27 PM PT on Friday (typically between Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy). Note: the ad with the game could run as early as 7:15 PM PT or as late as 7:45 PM PT.
  • If the dropped balls make a "Bingo" on your card (vertical, horizontal or diagonal), return to this website, click the I Think I Won tab and enter the 10-character code below your Bingo card before 11 PM PT on the Friday the game was played. If it's deemed to be a valid Bingo, we'll mail you a check for $500.
You must be 21 or older at the time you register to play. There's no cost and no purchase necessary: it's free.

Your email went to my spam folder. How do I prevent that?
The best way to prevent the emails essential to playing Barona $500 Fridays Bingo from going to your spam folder is to add SanDiego@TVScratchGames.com to your list of contacts/address book. This is the address that the game's emails are sent from.

What is a Bingo?
In this game, a Bingo occurs when the animated balls dropped during the Bingo game aired on television cause the player to "mark" 5 boxes forming a complete vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row. A box is considered to be "marked" if the number in the box on the player's card matches one of the 7 animated Bingo balls dropped. We do suggest that players actually mark (or, as many Bingo players call it, daub) the matching boxes as they appear on television. The Free space (see below) is always counted as a "marked" box.

FAQ Card

What is the "Free" space on my bingo cards?
You get to count the "Free" space as a "marked box" and, as such, you can use it in conjunction with 4 other "marked boxes" to make either a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal Bingo. A box is considered to be "marked" if the number in the box matches one of the 7 animated Bingo balls dropped during the game.

It's easy to mistype a 10-character code. Please try entering it again. It sometimes helps to access this site through the link in your weekly Bingo card email. If, after a few tries your code is still rejected, please feel free to contact us using the contact from at this website or, by clicking here. It is very helpful to us if you type the card code in question into the comment field. As per the rules, the game provider, Life Carrot, Inc., makes the sole determination as to the validity of your code. Click here to read the official rules for Barona $500 Fridays Bingo.

My address has changed, what do I do?
Address is an important item to update because if you win, we send your $500 check to the address you've registered. To update your profile you actually unsubscribe from the game (using the unsubscribe feature in any email we've sent you) and then re-register for the game. You can re-register by going to www.Barona.com and clicking on the Barona $500 Fridays banner in the right-hand column. You can also go to www.tvscratchgames.com/Barona$500Fridays.

Remember, if you want to play an upcoming Friday game you need to unsubscribe and re-register by Thursday midnight before the game. If you do so on Friday, you will not able to play until the next Friday.

What happens if there's more than one winner during a Friday game?
Each validated winner will receive $500! On this site's home page you will notice that some weeks more than one winning card is distributed. This means there can be more than one winner. Again, each validated winner will receive a $500 prize. Also, when more than one winning card is distributed, it is possible for one player to receive 2 winning cards! So, play your cards carefully, you might just win twice. If you do, enter each code separately under the I Think I Won! tab.

Can I win more than once?
Absolutely. Every Friday game is a new game. The fact that you may have won before does not count against you, or for you. It's a clean slate. For any given Friday game, it's even possible for both of the cards you receive to each be winners. If you're lucky enough to have that happen enter each code separately under the I Think I Won! tab.

What are the odds of winning?
The odds of winning depend on the number of active players and the number of winning cards distributed for a given Friday game. The number of winning cards distributed for a given week is posted on the home page of this site. The number of winning cards can vary from one to several. Likewise, the number of active players is posted and updated at or about midnight everyday. Click here to read the official rules for Barona $500 Fridays Bingo.

Why do the number of winning cards vary?
The number of winning cards distributed for a given week is posted on the home page of this site. You may notice that it can vary from Friday game to Friday game. The sponsors are committed to awarding a total of $12,000 in $500 prizes over the Promotional Period. But, some weeks, prizes may go unclaimed. For example, a winning player for a given Friday game may not have input his or her winning card code before the 11 PM PT Friday deadline. If there are many unclaimed prizes during the course of the promotion, the sponsor can increase the number of winning cards distributed in an effort to make sure more prizes are claimed. Any $500 prizes not awarded at the end of the Promotional Period will be awarded in a random "second chance drawing" held among all the active players. Click here to read the official rules for Barona $500 Fridays Bingo.

Is there a place where I can double check which "bingo balls" were played?
No. Part of the excitement of this game is that players really have to pay attention to the animated balls that are dropped every Friday of the Promotional Period during an ad for Barona Resort & Casino airing on NBC San Diego Channel 7 between 7:15 PM and 7:45 PM (but usually at 7:27 PM PT). The Barona Resort & Casino ad with the balls typically runs near the end of Wheel of Fortune and before Jeopardy. There is no official site where the balls dropped are posted/pubished and the Sponsors and Game Provider do not sanction – but, have every confidence that – blogs, posts and websites that publish "ball" information will spring up. We do not warrant the accuracy of any third-party information regarding any aspect of this game.
