How do I play?
Playing KPTM Fox 42 25th Anniversary Bingo is fun and easy. Here's what you need to do:

  • Register at this website and confirm your registration via email.
  • Receive a daily email with a link to your bingo cards. This email is sent to you by 10 AM CT the morning of the daily game. Click on the link in the email and print your bingo cards.
  • Watch the animated bingo balls drop during programming on Fox 42 at about 6:42 PM CT and again (same "bingo balls") at 10:42 PM CT
  • If the dropped balls make a "bingo" on your card (vertical, horizontal or diagonal), return to this website, click the I Think I Won tab and enter the 10-character code below your bingo card by 11:59 PM CT on the day the game was played. If it's deemed to be a valid bingo, we'll mail you a check for $42.
  • In addition to the game and daily prizes described above, all players who successfully register for the game are automatically entered into a drawing held on or about June 15, 2011 for $420 (plus any un-awarded/unclaimed daily prizes).

Player Tip: The on-air bingo balls appear quickly. It's a good idea to write the ball numbers down and then mark your cards.

Important: you cannot register and play on the same day. For example, if you join the game on a Monday you will receive your first bingo cards via email on Tuesday morning. Once you've successfully registered there's no need to re-register. We will send you bingo card emails for the duration of the promotion period unless/until you choose to unsubscribe from the game.

No purchase necessary. You must be 21 or older to play. To read the Official Rules of KPTM Bingo click the "Rules" tab at this website.

When is the game played?
Players can start registering to play as early as Thursday 4/28/2011. Starting on Monday 5/2/2011 animated "bingo balls" are dropped everyday of the Promotional Period (25 days in all) during programming on KPTM Fox 42 at 6:42 PM CT and again (same "bingo balls") at 10:42PM. A schedule for the KPTM Fox 42 25th Anniversary Bingo Contest appears in the table below:

Rules Card

Although KPTM will strive to run the game precisely at 6:42 PM CT, and again (same "bingo balls") at 10:42 PM CT, the games may air up to 15 minutes earlier or later than the scheduled times.

Also, please know that the specific programs listed in the KPTM Fox 42 program schedule above are subject to change (and, TBD means "To Be Determined").

Card codes are not accepted before 6:30PM CT. And, codes must be entered by 11:59 PM CT.

I'm not receiving email from you!
Most of the time this means that the email we're sending you is stuck in your spam folder. This is particularly true if you use Yahoo! or AOL as your email service provider. You may also have accidentally deleted our email. You can search for email from us using "key words" such as "KPTM" and "Bingo."

To prevent our emails from getting stuck in your spam folder please add Omaha@TVScratchGames.com to your contact list /address book.

Your email went to my spam folder. How do I prevent that?
The best way to prevent our emails from getting stuck in your spam folder is to add our email address, Omaha@TVScratchGames.com, to your contact list/address book.

The animated Bingo balls didn't show up on TV tonight! What do I do?
In the rare event that the balls do not properly air on TV, the game will be declared a "Scratched Game." As per the Official Rules no winner is declared in a Scratched Game and the prize or prizes that would have been awarded are made available in future Friday Games or in the Second Chance random drawing. Notice of a "Scratched Game" will be posted on the home page of this game web site as soon as an official determination has been made.

I'm always so close to winning! Is the game fixed?
While this game may look and feel like a real game of bingo, it is not. The mechanics of the game are more analogous to popular lottery scratch-off games. That is to say, the number of winners for each daily game is carefully predetermined. The daily winners are issued bingo cards that will score a bingo with the animated bingo balls displayed at 6:42PM CT and again at 10:42PM CT for that day. To make the game extra exciting (though we know some of you might say frustrating) the losing cards we issue are always pretty close to being winning cards. So, while we think "fixed" is, perhaps, a harsh way to describe how the game works, it is, like most lotteries and sweepstakes, engineered to deliver: 1) a specific number of winners; and, 2) a losing experience that is tantalizingly close to winning.

Why can't I register and play on the same day?
Players joining the game on any given day of the promotion period will not receive a bingo card email from us until the morning of the next day. We don't allow players to join the game and play on the same day because the Official Rules demand that the player pool used to determine the odds of winning a given daily game is closed at 11:59PM CT the day before a given daily game. As an example, a player joining on Monday (even on Monday morning) will not receive bingo cards via email until Tuesday morning for the game to be held at 6:42 PM CT on Tuesday night and repeated (same bingo balls) at 10:42 PM CT on Tuesday night.

You say my ZIP code is invalid, but I get Omaha TV?
The U.S. Postal Service frequently adds new ZIP codes. It is possible that your ZIP code is in the Omaha/Council Bluffs or Lincoln TV market (also known as DMAs), but is not yet in our game's database. Please use the Contact tab at this website and tell us your ZIP code. If our research indicates that your ZIP code should be added to our database, we'll let you know and you can register for the game.

How do I get to "This Website?"
The easiest way to get to the game website is by going to www.kptm.com and clicking on banner ads or links promoting Fox 42 25th Anniversary Bingo. You can also get to the game website by going directly to www.tvscratchgames.com/KPTMBingo. We advise all players to bookmark either, or both, of these pages. Another good way to get to this site is through the links in the emails you receive to get your Bingo cards. Any of the links (even for cards for games that have already been played) will bring you to the site. You can then use the navigation bar at the site to get to the I Think I Won! tab or any other tab you need.

What is a Bingo?
In this game, a "bingo" occurs when the animated balls dropped during the bingo game aired on television cause the player to "mark" 5 boxes forming a complete vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row. A box is considered to be "marked" if the number in the box on the player's card matches one of the 7 animated bingo balls dropped. Because the bingo balls shown on TV appear quickly, we strongly suggest that players write down the balls on the top the card as they appear. Players can then take more time to thoroughly mark (or, as many Bingo players call it, daub) the matching boxes. The Free space (see below) is always counted as a "marked" box.

Player Tip: The on-air bingo balls appear quickly. It's a good idea to write the ball numbers down and then mark your cards.

What is the "Free" space on my bingo cards?
You get to count the "Free" space as a "marked box" and, as such, you can use it in conjunction with 4 other "marked boxes" to make either a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal Bingo. A box is considered to be "marked" if the number in the box matches one of the 7 animated Bingo balls dropped during the game.

I won! What do I do?
If you believe you have a winning card, come to this site, and click on the "I Think I Won!" tab before 11:59 PM CT on the day the game was played and input the 10-character card code at the bottom of your Bingo card. If you enter the code after 11:59 PM CT, the win will be deemed invalid. No exceptions. If the code is valid, the game provider, Life Carrot, Inc. will confirm your win and send you a check for $42 within 2 weeks of the confirmation (and usually sooner). If the game provider requires more information to confirm your win, you will be contacted via email and/or U.S. mail at the address you provided in your registration.

When is the deadline to input my winning card code?
Winning card codes MUST be entered by 11:59 PM CT on the day the game was played. If you enter the code after 11:59 PM CT, the win will be deemed invalid. No exceptions. To enter a code, come to this site, and click on the "I think I Won!" tab and follow the directions.

I know I won, but the website says it doesn't recognize my code, or that the code I entered is a loser!
It's easy to mistype a 10-character code. Please try entering it again. It sometimes helps to access this site through the link in your daily bingo card email. If you cut and pasted the code, try actually typing it in instead. Sometimes cutting and pasting grabs an extra space that causes an error. If, after a few tries your code is still rejected, please feel free to contact us using the Contact form at this website. Note, we may ask you to provide your birth date and email address to help confirm a win. As per the Official Rules, the game provider, Life Carrot, Inc., makes the sole determination as to the validity of your code.

My address has changed, what do I do?
Address is an important item to update because if you win, we send your $42 check to the address you've registered. To update your profile you must unsubscribe from the game (using the unsubscribe feature in any email we've sent you) and then re-register for the game as a new player. You can re-register by going to www.kptm.com and clicking links and/or banners promoting the game or by visiting: www.tvscratchgames.com/KPTMBingo

Be forewarned that updating your information may cause you to miss a daily game. You cannot register - or re-register - for this game and play on the same day.

Can I win more than once?
Absolutely. Every daily game is a new game. The fact that you may have won before does not count against you, or for you. It's a clean slate. For any given daily game, it's even possible for both of the cards you receive to each be winners. If you're lucky enough to have that happen enter each code separately under the I Think I Won! tab.

What are the odds of winning?
The odds of winning depend on the number of active players and the number of winning cards distributed for a given daily game. The number of winning cards distributed for a given day is posted on the home page of this game site. The number of winning cards can vary from five to many more. Likewise, the number of active players is posted and updated at or about midnight everyday.

Why do the number of winning cards vary?
The number of winning cards distributed for a given day is posted on the home page of this game site. You may notice that it can vary from game to game. The sponsors are committed to awarding a total of 125 in $42 prizes over the promotion period. But, some daily prizes may go unclaimed. For example, a winning player for a given game may not have input his or her winning card code before the 11:59 PM CT deadline. If there are many unclaimed prizes during the course of the promotion, the sponsor can increase the number of winning cards distributed in an effort to make sure more prizes are claimed. Any $42 prizes not awarded at the end of the game will be added to the $420 grand prize that is awarded in a random "second chance drawing" held among all the active players.

Is there a place where I can double-check which "bingo balls" were played?
No. Part of the excitement of this game is that players really have to pay attention to the animated bingo balls that are dropped on Fox 42 every day of the 25-day promotion period at 6:42 PM CT and again (same bingo balls) at 10:42 PM CT. So, players have 2 chances per day to see the daily bingo balls. There is no official site where the balls dropped are posted/published and KPTM and Life Carrot, Inc. do not sanction - but, have every confidence that - blogs, posts and websites that publish "ball" information will spring up. We do not warrant the accuracy of any third-party information regarding any aspect of this game.

Are the bingo balls dropped at 6:42PM CT the same as the bingo balls dropped at 10:42PM CT?
Yes. Players are given 2 chances per day to see the daily bingo balls before the daily game ends at 11:59 PM CT.

The first viewing is in Fox 42 programming at 6:42PM CT and again (same bingo balls) at 10:42PM CT.

Please note: although KPTM will strive to run the game precisely at 6:42 PM CT, and again (same bingo balls) at 10:42 PM CT, the games may air up to 15 minutes earlier or later than the scheduled times.
