The Grand Prize drawing will be held on or about 7/15/2011. The value of the Grand Prize is $5,000 plus the number of "Likes" at www.facebook.com/schnucks up to a maximum total of $25,000. (So, the amount is capped when Schnucks has 20,000 "Likes.")
Register for the game at this website or by going to www.tvscratchgames.com/QualityVille.
Every player who views all 14 videos to completion will receive a gift (typically a high value coupon/offer) from Schnucks.
Playing QualityVille is FREE and easy. No purchase required. Must be 18 or older to play and live in the Promotional Territory. For complete rules, click the Rules tab at the top of this page.
To prevent our email from going to your spam folder, please add our email address to your contact list. The email address for this game is: QualityVille@TVScratchGames.com
QualityVille has been engineered to work on a wide variety of computers and broswers. But there are some basic system requirements needed to play:
While we have designed our game to work with a broad range of browsers, we feel the best performance is achieved on the Mozilla/Firefox family of browsers. You can download these browsers for free at www.mozilla.com.
Please note the link at the bottom of the "S" on the Game Card page that says, "Click here to play a version of QualityVille for older computers." This may solve some issues, but it does not eliminate the need for Javascript or Flash 8.
The game, with its intensive use of video, is not optimized for mobile platforms. We discourage you from playing on smartphones, iPads and other wireless devices.
I'm having trouble watching the videos! They take a long time to load!
Note: Because iPads and iPhones do not support Flash, the QualiyVille game cannot be played on these platforms.
If your computer cannot reliably view videos on YouTube, you will have difficulty playing this game. Also, depending upon time of day, the quality of your Internet connection, and the brand and version of your web browser, online video can be frustratingly slow. We've done everything we can to ensure speed on our end, but we know there will still be issues. Here are some tips that may help:
- Try revisiting the site late at night or early in the morning when Internet traffic is typically lower
- Click the link at the bottom of the "S" on the game page that says, "Click here to play a version of QualityVille for older computers."
- Play at a friend's house, at work, or at the public library where there may be a better (higher bandwidth) Internet connection and a computer that reliable views YouTube. To play on another computer, visit www.tvscratchgames.com/QualityVille where you will be prompted for your birth date and email address.
- Don't play on a smartphone or through a mobile/wireless connection. Wireless is great technology, but, today, it often lacks the bandwidth and plug-ins needed to reliably view video.
- While we have designed our game to work with a broad range of browsers, we feel the best performance is achieved on the Mozilla/Firefox family of browsers. You can download these browsers for free at www.mozilla.com.
- You may be using a 64-bit browser to view our Flash movies. Be aware that Flash does not run on 64-bit Web browsers. All major browsers are available in 32-bit versions. Try downloading a 32-bit version of your web browser.
- You must have Flash Player 8 or higher to view the videos. For a free download, go to: www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer.
Still having trouble? Go to our contact form at this website and tell us what operating system you are on, what browser you are using, and list any unusual Internet security measures you may have taken (for example, turning Javascript off).
Can I watch all the videos in one visit to the game page?
Yes. We encourage you to view all 14 videos during one visit to the game page. But, the game can certainly be played over several visits during the course of the Promotional Period from 12:01 AM CT on 5/8/2011 to 11:59 PM CT on 7/3/2011. Please allow at least 20 minutes to view all 14 videos (even though the total run time of the videos is only about 14 minutes).
What happens if I only watch some of the videos?
You do not have to watch all 14 videos to play the game, but you do have to watch all 14 to receive your gift from Schnucks (a high value coupon/offer).
Any entries into the Grand Prize Drawing you earn will count so long as you do not unsubscribe from the game.
What is my password?
We think you have enough passwords to remember in your life, so this game does not require a password to play. We use your birth date, email address, and other technologies to help identify you. Be very accurate when you provide your registration information. You may be asked to provide proof of any of all of your registration information should you win.
You don't recognize my ZIP code, but I shop at Schnucks or Logli!
We have approved over 2,200 ZIP codes for participation in the game. Many of these ZIP codes are located several miles from the nearest Schnucks or Logli locations. We have drawn a generous circle around our trade area. That said, mistakes happen and, from time to time, new ZIP codes are added. If you feel your ZIP code should be included in the game please use the contact from at this website and tell us why. The ruling of our Game Provider, Life Carrot, Inc., will be final.
What are the odds of winning?
The odds of winning the Grand Prize are determined by the number of players who registered for the game and the total number of entries a given player has earned compared to the total universe of entries earned by all of the players. As an example, if there are 10,000 players who have earned a total of 200,000 entries, a specific player with 30 entries has a 30 in 200,000 chance of winning.
The theoretical maximum number of entries a player can earn is: One (1) for successfully registering + Fourteen (14), one for each of the 14 videos completely viewed + One-hundred and forty (140) for the extraordinary good luck of being awarded 10 Bonus Entries for each of the 14 videos viewed = A total of one hundred and fifty-five (155) entries.
The average performance of a player viewing all 14 videos should be closer to 32 total entries calculated as follows: 310 out 1,000 or 31% of the 14 views (or 4.34) will contain a packet worth either 3, 5, or 10 entries. Of the 310 per 1,000 views that are winners, 64.5% are worth 3 entries, 32.3% are worth 5 entries, and 3.2% are worth 10 entries for a weighted average value of 3.87 entries per win. Thus, the average player completing the "S" Game Card can expect 4.34 winning events worth an average of 3.87 entries for 16.8 Bonus Entries + 14 entries for each video viewed + 1 entry for successful registration for a total of 31.8 entries. But, the performance of individual players will vary widely.

When is the Grand Prize Drawing?
The Grand Prize Drawing will take place on or about July 15, 2011.
What is the Grand Prize worth?
The value of the Grand Prize is $5,000 plus the number of "Likes" at www.facebook.com/schnucks up to a maximum total of $25,000. (So, the amount is capped when Schnucks has 20,000 "Likes.")
Do I have to join Facebook and "Like" Schnucks to play?
Absolutely not. Schnucks is clearly interested in building its following on Facebook, but you are under no obligation to join Facebook and "Like" the Schnucks page at www.facebook.com/schnucks to play. "Liking" us will not improve your odds of winning.
Please note: This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
I didn't get credit for the video I just viewed!
Most likely you did not view the video to completion. If the box you clicked on in the Schnucks "S" on your Game Card is shaded yellow instead of light red, please re-click the box and watch the video to the very end.
Please click the link on your Schnucks "S" Game Card that says, "Click here to view a detailed report of your entries." If you disagree with our accounting of the entries you have earned on this page, please use the contact form at this website and we will attempt to resolve the issue.
As per the Official Rules you agreed to prior to your participation in the game, the Game Provider's system is the sole device for determining when a video has been viewed and the number of bonus entries, if any, the player has earned.
I didn't receive my Schnucks Gift for watching all 14 videos!
Your Schnucks Gift, a high value offer/coupon that you print at home, is emailed to you the morning after you earn it (usually at about 7:30AM CT). Please check your email for an email entitled QualityVille Thank You.
Missing email from us is almost always in your spam folder. This is particularly true if you use Yahoo or AOL as your email service. Please check your spam folder for an email entitled QualityVille Thank You. If you cannot locate it, please use the Contact tab at this website and we will resend it to you if our records indicate you have not already printed it.
My Schnucks Gift for watching all 14 videos didn't print!
Once you hit the "Activate & Print" button the Gift coupon/offer should print. If it does not, please contact us using the Contact tab at this website.
Don't click "Activate & Print" unless you know you're ready to print!
Be forewarned: to prevent coupon fraud, your request for another link to the Gift coupon/offer will most likely be denied. The offer is simply too valuable for us to re-issue. Re-issuance is solely at the discretion of the Game Provider.
My street address has changed. What do I do?
Players who change street address or email address during the Promotion Period must notify the Game Provider using the contact form at this website. As per the Official Rules you agreed to prior to your participation in the game, accepting a street address change, an email address change, or any other change to the information initially provided by a player as valid is at the sole discretion of the Game Provider. Be forewarned that vast majority of such requests will be denied. Changing your address is potentially one of the ways to cheat the game (by getting more that your fair share of views) and if the Game Provider has even a slight suspicion that a change to your registration information will adversely affect the integrity of the game, the request will be denied.

Am I going to receive spam as a part of this game?
Your privacy is important to us. You will receive a few emails to facilitate your participation in the game, but once the Grand Prize Drawing has been concluded (on or about July 15, 2011) you will receive no more emails from the game.
Be forewarned: clicking unsubscribing in any of the few emails we send you as part of the game effectively ends your participation in the promotion. As per the Official Rules you agreed to prior to your participation in the game, unsubscribing from the game-related emails will cause you to lose any Grand Prize drawing entries you may have earned.
During registration you were given the opportunity to un-click (opt-out) of receiving emails from Schnucks that are separate and apart from the game. You are under no obligation to receive these marketing emails. Agreeing to receive these emails does not improve your odds of winning and unsubscribing from these emails will not affect your participation in the game.
I'm having problems. How do I contact you?
The best way to contact the Game Provider (the Schnucks vendor who operates the game) is by using the Contact tab at this website. All emails will be answered within 48 hours. We also maintain a toll-free phone number at 888-852-1926, but please know it is not staffed with live operators. Rather, your voice message will be forwarded to our email service center as an audio file.
The Game Provider also maintains a mailing address at:
Life Carrot Inc, QualityVille Promotion
34145 Pacific Coast Highway - #751
Dana Point, CA 92629-2808
We will NEVER, EVER send you an email with an attached file. Never, open an attachment in an email that looks like it is coming from this game.
The emails sent to you to make participation in this game possible are sent from QualityVille@TVScratchGames.com and carry the title of the game QualityVille in their header. However, it is possible for hackers, spammers, phishers and other cyber-criminals to send you emails that look and feel very much like the official emails we send. The mere act of opening such an email does not, in most cases, cause harm, but NEVER, under any circumstances, open an attachment in such an email. We will NEVER send you an email with an attached file. By participating in the game you expressly agree that the Sponsors and the Game Providers are not responsible for any damage or hardship caused by opening emails or attachments that may appear to be from this game.
Why is the game open only to U.S. citizens?
A foreign national who wins the Grand Prize may be subject to tax withholdings in his or her home country. The Game Provider is only geared to enforce U.S. tax code, not the tax laws of foreign countries. We're sorry about this limitation, but it is operationally necessary.
